Spring is in the air!

I hope this post finds you well and enjoying some fresh snow melt. Nothing beats cold water and warm air! (well, nothing except warm water and warm air...:)

Just a quick update from things in my life.

1. First Descents just finished hosting it's first program in Moab, UT. It was a week of climbing and challenge for 15 young adult cancer survivors and fighters that proved to be truly magical. We still have 14 programs to go this year and 10 of them are kayaking. The programs are provided free to the participants and we always need help paying for them so if you're in the mood to give back by challenging yourself as a kayaker, please get a team together for Eddy Flower's annual VERTICAL CHALLENGE! It's simple, you form a team, set up a fundraising page, ask friends and family to sponsor/support you and then log as many vertical feet as you can in one month. 2. I have the honor of emceeing the opening night of this years' Five Point Film Festival. If you're in Colorado (or even if you're not) please swing by. I'll be there with Tyler Bradt. I promise you won't be disappointed! It's an amazing event!!

3. I'll be leading a kayak clinic with EJ and Jason Beakes on the Potomac for this years' Summit Series. If you're around and interested in attending, get in touch with them! Spots won't last long. People like Bill Clinton will be speaking. Should be rad!
