What a great idea: kayaking a part of PE class. That's the plan for Turtle River Montessori School students in Jupiter, Fla. It may not be whitewater, but the Intracoastal Waterway near Burt Reynolds Park will become a floating classroom!
We here at Dagger think it would be awesome if all students got on the water as a part of school curriculum. Like the article says...
"They'll learn leadership skills and teamwork skills,"..."They have to work together, paddle together. They have to cooperate."
