Happy Hour Paddle on the Middle White Salmon

It's summer time, the rivers are flowing and the days are longer. There is no better way to unwind after work than an evening paddle! Every Wednesday throughout the summer, paddlers get together for an after work Happy Hour Paddle on the Middle White Salmon River, WA. Brendan Wells and I joined up with the group for a Dagger Paddle last month and had a ridiculously great time. The MWS is an incredibly beautiful class III-IV run and it was great to get out on the water and work on some playboating moves. Playboats, Creekboats, Longboats and Stand-up Paddle Boards, everything goes for the Happy Hour Paddle. We all met at Husum at 5:30 pm and shuttled up to BZ corner.

Thanks so much to the Kayak Shed and the Happy Hour Paddlers for having us along. I had a great time and I'll definitely be back throughout the rest of the summer. On Wednesday, August 17th, I'll be paddling the Lower White Salmon for a class II-III Happy Hour Paddle. If anyone is interested in joining me, meet at Husum at 5:30 pm.
