California is going off!

Spring is here in the sierras with sunshine, flowers blooming and snow melting. Most of the ski resorts have closed now and the skis are in storage. We have been making runs on Kaweah's Hospital Rock and East Fork, American's Golden Gate and Silverfork, Feather's East Branch and Ben and Jerry's. Here are some photos of what has been happening here. May marks the time when paddlers converge upon the sierras from all over the world for the best multi day self support expeditions on the planet.
