About the nomination

Brad Ludden, pro kayaker, founded First Descents in 2001. First Descents now has 9 one week programs in 6 six states that are FREE for participants. This program gives them their LIFE back when they feel that they have lost it with their diagnosis.

The participants kayak, mountain bike, hike, climb, kite board etc through a week long experience. The 18 - 39 year old age group is the most under served and fastest growing population in the cancer world.
