Team D's Christie Glissmeyer new women's world record waterfall holder!

Christie G decided to step it up this past weekend and break the record of 78 feet that's stood for the last 11 years. Christie's descent of 82-foot Metlako Falls on Eagle Creek in Oregon is absolutely huge, and a big moment for women's kayaking!

I posted an interview with Christie on Paddlinglife.net this morning.

Working on an awesome adventure/conservation project right now

The Epicocity Crew is working on a really exciting project right now that uses exploratory whitewater kayaking to tell the story of receding glaciers. We just got back from a National Geographic expedition to Bolivia, where we collaborated with local Hydrologist Edson Ramirez to investigate the glacial recession that will very soon deplete the capital region's water supply.
