Team D's Christie Glissmeyer new women's world record waterfall holder!

Christie G decided to step it up this past weekend and break the record of 78 feet that's stood for the last 11 years. Christie's descent of 82-foot Metlako Falls on Eagle Creek in Oregon is absolutely huge, and a big moment for women's kayaking!

I posted an interview with Christie on Paddlinglife.net this morning.

Working on an awesome adventure/conservation project right now

The Epicocity Crew is working on a really exciting project right now that uses exploratory whitewater kayaking to tell the story of receding glaciers. We just got back from a National Geographic expedition to Bolivia, where we collaborated with local Hydrologist Edson Ramirez to investigate the glacial recession that will very soon deplete the capital region's water supply. We also spent several days exploring some incredible class V on the Zongo River.
