Have not seen it on any of my boats or any around here. If it is an issue with your boat I would suggest reaching out to the retailer you purchased it from and have them look into a resolution with Dagger. Our boats carry the best warranty in the industry. Take the boat to your retailer and have them give an opinion. If they feel it is a warranty they will contact our offices in South Carolina and they will take it from there.
I have a Demo Juice 7.1 and I had an issue where the screws that held the seat down wore a hole through the bottom of my boat. I fixed the issue by pulling the seat out and putting some plastic between the screw and the bottom of the boat. Then, I heated the bottom of my boat and melted some plastic onto the bottom to plug the whole. I haven't had any problems since. I got the plastic from my local boat retailer.
I'm sure this would void the warranty, but considering my boat was a Demo, I didn't have a warranty to void.
